The elbow in Elbow Beach

At least, that's what I assume this is. Elbow Beach seems to be split in two halves by these rocks. I've not managed to go beyond them during my stay, as the sea is high and when I went back this afternoon, even more of the sand at this end of the beach had been eaten away by the sea, so getting across to walk through the trees to see the other side would have been excessively complicated.

That's pretty much all I did today, apart from some work and finishing off the novel (Our Evenings by Alan Hollingshurst) which I don't want to lug back to Edinburgh.

An early blip because I am hoping the evening will be quiet with an on time flight and safe arrival into LHR. I have a busy day tomorrow and will have no time to blip, so an early blip makes sense.
