Sheriff on a bike

We had a visit today from the High Sheriff of Clwyd, Karen Farrell-Thornley. One of her chosen charities for the year is the absolutely amazing and essential Blood Bikes and she has sponsored one of the bikes. As part of being a chosen charity she is trying to raise the profile of the charity by shadowing one of their riders today including a visit to the lab at Wrexham. After telling her how brilliant Blood Bikes are she had a quick tour of the lab before a photo opportunity with some of the staff from the lab.
I'm all for raising awareness of these 'hidden' services in health are, and I thought I'd avoided getting dragged into the photos until they insisted on having one of Karen, me, and our Acute Site Director...that might make it on to here once it's been vetted.
