Green River

We've had a bit of a rainy day here. That was good in one way because it was nice to get up at a reasonable time, have a relaxed breakfast and prepare for a critique session. Some excellent pictures produced of course and always good to see the different takes on the same locations.

We went out at midday and after getting some lunch locally went off to Vintgar Gorge in the Triglav National Park. It's a narrow gorge with boardwalks  along the side. The river Radovna is a gorgeous shade of green and there was a lot of water coming down after recent rains. That made for a lot of spray and hazy backgrounds in the distance. Keeping the spray off lenses was a bit a task and there was also some rain and drips from the gorge sides above. It was a nice level walk although a bit of care was needed with surfaces, oh and we were issued with hard hats as we entered.

Thank you again for comments hearts and stars for my last two blips, they're very much appreciated even if I'm not able to reply.  I must get my head down now as it will be an early start tomorrow.
