Festival Of The Daleks.

It's almost that time of year again and with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival just over a week away, row upon row of posters have appeared around town.

Instead of enticing us to part with hard-earned cash to be enlightened and entertained, it just induces a subtle and lamentable culture fatigue with the constant gurning of comedians both new and seasoned, cynically trying to convince us of their wit and edginess - their faces stare back at us, bombarding the weary from every available space like George Orwell meme gone mad.
