Garden Project Day 2

Digging out the soil from this 25 year old bed. It is so compacted after all of these years, it took a pick to break it loose, then shoveling it by hand into the tractor bucket. It will be nice when finished, but wow, it is a lot of work.

On the plus side, it was a beautiful, albeit a cold Oregon autumn day. Our favorite.
