St Clement Danes

Walking between meetings in London at lunchtime I made a quick visit to St Clement Danes the Central Church of the Royal Air Force. Destroyed by bombing in 1941 and restored in 1958. Almost 900 squadron and unit badges made of Welsh slate are set into the floor of the church.
