Salisbury Cathedral

I had lunch with some ex colleagues today and on the way back to the car I walked through the grounds of Salisbury Cathedral. Hence this blip.

The cathedral was built between 1220 and 1258 and houses one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta and the oldest working clock in the world which was built in 1386.

I loved the book "The Pillars of the Earth" - which tells the story of the building of the medieval cathedral.
