Edinburgh has modern buildings as well as the Recency terraces .. some of them are rather more pleasant inside than to look at from the exterior. On the right is the back of the convention centre, where I was again in the morning. 

The content of the sessions was much more about the standards process and less about Net Zero, about which the standards are being developed. Climate science changes, just like quantum technology, and standards bodies are having to rethink their operating rate so as to continue to be effective. 

Shorter walk later through the Town. There was some afternoon sunshine, and less wind, so very pleasant out of doors.
