A day of contrasting weather patterns

It was very hot today with 28°C and beautiful sunshine. I have just opened my study door at 8.30 pm looking out to the vegetable garden. It is dark, the temperature has dropped to 13°C and it is very wet. This is forecast to continue right through Saturday with a high of only 10°C before things pick up again from Sunday.
