Scudding Clouds……

The temperature was almost like summer before dawn this morning. Clouds were assembling in the northwest and allowing some to scud eastwards across the sky. It was windy. This view looks southwest across paddocks and vineyards to the distant Wither Hills. Back at home, spent cherry blossoms and wisteria petals had been blown into the patio overnight…..,a thick carpet of them which required removal.
The temperature reached 27C in the shaded porch during the afternoon. It has cooled down this evening after heavy rain set in. I have been out in rainwear and gumboots to check the downpipes and gutters. All is ok for now.
