Gifu…..

…..up country to Gifu and a visit to the home of the Little-Sakai’s. We’d overdone the craft ale a fraction last night so breaky was quite a subdued affair. Once the coffee kicked-in, we were ready for some family visiting and touristing.

Lunch was one of those conveyor belt restaurants so beloved of Yo Sushi in the UK. They’re not as popular here now after a series of scandals involving employees and customers being caught licking the plate contents and putting them back.

Then Ryoko’s folks came round and a massive bottle of sake’ was produced and toasts drunk.

On the train back to Nygoya now and trying not to focus on the lack of train toilet facilities.
