Mekong Sunrise

This was the view from our hotel room on Khong Island in the Mekong as the sun rose this morning. Soon after, we left Laos and the Mekong and crossed into Cambodia. We’re travelling by road towards the vast historic temple complex of Angkor Wat, but first we will (tomorow) visit another important temple, Preah Vihear, in remote northern Cambodia.
