Trip to Thorn

It took me a while to gather the courage to go cycling for two days. Now that we haven't gone walking I don't really get into a holiday mood. But when I suggested it to Bert the hotel was quickly booked and the route determined. Along the Wurm and the Roer and then cycle along the Maasplassen to Thorn. A nice bike ride without too many hills. Well, except for the ones between home and Rimburg at Wurm.

The holiday mood came right after Rimburg. It's nice to cycle downstream like this. We know the way and even in Roermond we ended up at the mouth of the Roer. Not like last time. :-)
