The Cyanide Tree
Silly 'still life' that caught my eye this morning. Looks the sort of thing the Tate Modern might be interested in so I thought I'd better give it an art'y title.

Actually, the title mostly relates to doing some major pruning today. Strategically pruning a couple of diseased branches of the Wych Elm - formerly the 'Tree of Snakiness' as it had fought hard to find sunlight in the decades before we got here, and bounced around until it found some. See here and the extra. It's put on some serious growth in 10 years.
While I had the kit out I took out large volumes of adjacent Cherry Laurel (the cyanide tree) to give the Elm more light and space.
