Playing around again

I have just been watching a recording of a Camversation talk by Julie Cowdy.  She combines wonderful fruit, flower and vegetable photos with pieces of old paper and textures to wonderful artistic effect.  This is my first attempt at combining similar layers which just shows me how difficult it is.  My Photoshop skills need upgrading.  The flower is a "River Lily" growing on the side of our pond.  I love it because it flowers when almost everything else has finished.
