Still earthbound

It rained this morning and I took advantage of the inclement weather to deal with some outstanding decorating chores in the house.  Late this afternoon, when it had dried up, I took advantage of the improvement to try to photograph some of the garden birds.  I still didn't manage to capture the robin in mid air, and he's already become a lot quicker at taking seeds from the feeder.  He no longer needs to hover so his visits are now very quick and I suspect that I've missed my chance.

There's a fat in-coming wood pigeon as the extra.  They're far from my favourite bird, but I like the light in this one.
