Visiting the Creels

It’s that time of year again, oriental spices wafting about the kitchen, the Current Mrs Creel wearing perfumed muslin, for she has been making her Christmas cake and Christmas pudding.  I’m also planning ahead and looking out my Easter Bonnet.  Today’s visit to my mother saw her really mixed up.  She wanted to go and buy a loaf and some dog food.  Maybe she wanted to make me a toastie.  She’s really started to swear very loudly – which she does acknowledge.   The meter connected to the solar panels at HQ has stopped measuring.  With no sign of a new paragraph I will batter on. Some Blippers may remember the bitter arguments between Leslie Halliwell and Philip Jenkinson.  Some of you may not.  Whatever, they constantly bickered about the African Queen.  I think it is therefore apt to mention that today’s creel boat is not being skippered by Charlie Allnut.  Confused?  Me too, permanently.  I trust you will all have a restful and well deserved break this weekend.
