AT LAST

This BRUGMANSIA has been growing steadily since May when a few green shoots appeared.

It us now nearly 7 ft. tall and has 12 buds. Unfortunately it doesn't like cold weather being a Mediterranean shrub so to finally see the first flower erupt from its bud like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis is very exciting. 

It will eventually be pink and it's over 10 inches long. The smell at night is intoxicating.
