Autumn Walk
I met my friend Isa for a walk in the Taunus hills, around the village of Strinz-Trinitatis. It was a perfect day, mostly sunny, with 16°C.
This weekend, the clocks will be turned back, so afternoon walks will become difficult for the coming months, and we made the most of this chance now.
The beech forests were splendid in their autumn colours. We saw lots of cranes fly by, and spotted plenty of mushrooms in the moss and leaves.
Apart from one mountain biker and two women on horseback, we didn’t encounter any people, but several deer and sqirrels. I am adding plenty of extras, including the village and the sunset we saw after going for our customary post-walk-meal.
