A murky day
Yikes ye gads. Hot on the foot of the junk mail offering to future proof my house with a stair lift, today it a plan to finance my cremation. I hope I don’t need any of this within the next year as I’ve been in lengthy communication with Trailfinders to sort out a long haul trip - they’ll do the flights and a couple of add-ons to what we arrange ourselves. Mr C has the task of checking the dates are correct and how we can cut costs.
After that,
- sorting with the surgery to print me off a record of my diphtheria, typhoid etc jabs,
- getting through to bird of prey centre at Kielder for our day out with the boys,
- booking a restaurant for lunch with daughters and our visitors,
- working out when we can have Ella and Nathaniel to give their exhausted mum a rest,
- packing birthday gifts to get posted
- and the rest, I had to destress with a walk on the moor.
I could barely see by the time I got back at 5.15 (4.5 miles) as it’s been a murky day.
