Hazy

Woke very early and just decided to stay awake and go over my notes for the Board until it was time to FaceTime Mx on his 7th birthday (and very exciting to know he shares his birthday with our new book group grandson!). He was full of beans, showing me his magnetic Minecraft blocks, his superhero action figures and some stationery/arts stuff. I didn’t manage to get a good picture of him from a screenshot but I’ll see him all weekend which will be lovely.
Caught the train with CR and we had a good chat on the way there, then it was a blur of a day in the meeting, but managed to finish bang on time and all went smoothly.
Further meeting afterwards about review of one of the committees, then I came home on the train… listening to the Dish podcast (I love Angela Hartnett’s laugh!). I arrived to a thick mist in Edinburgh…such a contrast to yesterday!
Just after I took this photo I (literally!) bumped into R heading for the station, so we grabbed a quick drink to have a natter and a catch up and enjoyed a good laugh. Nice end to a long day!
