Simple Pleasures

Rather a grey and humid day with rain at lunchtime and into the afternoon. I managed to give Merlin a good walk this morning while it was still dry. Then after a reviving cup of tea, made minestrone soup for lunch using mainly vegetables from the allotment. Whilst the rain came down I also made another batch of rolls. I usually have a roll each day with soup at lunchtime and so I make a new batch every week or so.
