.. is where I had planned to stay today to rest and recuperate.. and spend some me time in making things.
Then a phone call!!
A friend is in hospital, with two fractured vertebrae and ribs after falling down her very steep stairs.
She actually did this three weeks ago and being stoic thought she would get better, but the pain got unbearable and she got a taxi to hospital!! She is now in a firm neck and body brace and the two options she has are both quite grim. … anyway… she was desparate for a phone charger , her life line… and other bits .
So I got the train and delivered!
I’m not going to comment on my swollen glands and throat… I’ll give it another week and then seek medical advice, maybe!!
