Looking towards the Japanese Garden.
oday we had a visit to Larch Cottage Nurseries known to us as Melki, because it is at Melkinthorpe.
Being a nursery it doesn't have plants that have been "brought on" to show what you might expect this season next door. Also they don't have any indoor plants other than a few for display in the cafe.
This reduces the choice of what is looking good and in flower. For a change I thought I would blip part of the gardens instead of a plant. Peter has laid out his sales areas interspersed by gardens and landscaped features "ruins" etc. So the blip is looking out of the Clematis sales are into the Japanese garden.
I over heard a conversation and I have to agree with what was said. "Isn't this the most interesting and unusual garden centre you have ever visited".
