Lightship

CLS4 Carpentaria, 1917 - 1985 served with the Commonwealth Lighthouse Service. It is now part of the National Maritime Museum in Sydney which I visited today after nearby Pirrama parkrun.
I also crawled around HMAS Onslow, an Oberon-class submarine. (Extra blip).
It was built in Greenock in 1967. My father was an engineer who worked on submarine projects in the West of Scotland around then, which the guides, some of whom were ex submariners, were interested to hear. Who knows if he knew this ship.
