My daughter flew into Portland tonight at 8PM; I wanted to pick her up but I don't like to drive at night so I drove to the other side of town at 4:30. Traffic was heavy and it took me twice as long to get there but I have a book on cd so I had extra time to listen to it. I enjoyed shopping and eating dinner out in the Northeast of town. We had a good visit while my daughter drove home. I enjoyed hanging out with no agenda and no hurry.
