Fun, fun, fun

The promised storms have stayed away...so far! It did rain a bit this morning but otherwise it's been scorchio once again.

This morning the SureStart Fun Bus was in the big park. The rain put off all but ourselves and one other family plus a mum and her little one who was passing by. Shame really as there were lots of toys and activities for the kids to get on with.

The village library hosted a crafts and storytelling session this afternoon which was well attended. The girls really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went back to the park for a runaround and then went for ice cream at the gift shop.

You'd think the girls would be worn out after all that but no. They took quite a while to get to sleep. Perhaps it is because they are excited about our annual mini break to the wigwams that starts tomorrow?!
