Strong colours

It started to rain this afternoon, the burn sounds very busy now.  I didn’t think about taking a photo this morning, it eased for a short while and nipped out.  A few hours later it is looking bright over on the hillside. 

Post, on the island I suspect the subject is similar to that of ferries, the employees who work locally are excellent.  I posted a card, 2nd class from Oban to Gloucester on Thursday, it arrived Friday morning.  A card posted from Cheletenham to Mull last week was seven days in the system,  as John says where do the envelopes go when not heading directly to us.  Yesterday I made a start on Christmas cakes, 2 small cakes, four more to go, half are for raffles, not all are for us. Once in the oven I started to think about cake boards, ribbons and decorations. Onto the iPad to make a start and ordered them, this was Friday afternoon, they arrived today, Saturday afternoon.  Amazing, and of course from Amazon.  I didn’t like to place the extra as a main blip.
