Loving Leo
I took quite a few photographs today when I popped out to post a couple of cards at lunchtime and when we visited the annual art exhibition at the St Columba's hospice. Having reviewed them all, it is this lovely tribute to a much loved dog that I have decided to blip. It's in the grounds of the St Columba's building where the art exhibition is being hosted.
There is free access to British and Irish newspapers on Find my past this weekend so Mr hazelh has been rummaging through the databases most of the day. Probably the most interesting nugget that he has unearthed is that his costermonger great grandfather was sent to prison for stealing a ralli car (a type of horse drawn cart) immediately before conceiving his grandfather. This renders the story of Frank's early life even more Dickensian than already related.
I'm keen to get back to exercise, but still coughing quite a lot. I think that my best strategy for now is to write off this past week as far as training is concerned and start afresh on Monday.
We also took Mummy hazelh for her COVID and flu vaccinations this afternoon. The whole process was very efficient and she says that she barely felt the injections.
In other news, Jon is back from his travels and we should see him again towards the end of next week.
Exercise today: only a tiny bit of walking (still ill).
