Northumberland...

Here by the sea for a week. After a niggly journey up which took a lot longer than usual, I made it. I've been to this cottage twice before - it's lovely. It's in Low Hauxley & right by the sea. Peaceful & so on. The last two times I've been, the weather has been fantastically dreadful! Great wave watching but everywhere was flooded.

Not this week :) The forecast is for good weather all week. After unpacking, a couple of hours on the beach walking was gorgeous. Sunny, warm, not busy, quite a few birds, lovely light & just peaceful.

Main blip is a curlew & the extra are sanderlings - or 'beach mice' as I call them as they scurry around. Large view is always better...
