Bingley from Damart

Once a month Damart has a sale. They are well known in the area. Recently they have started opening the works canteen so people attending can get refreshments, and they also allow community groups to have a stall free of charge.

Morsbags were one of the stalls today, so I was there sewing and explaining about morsbags. It was very busy and very well received.

This is the view from the cafeteria, showing the canal, the A650 (the bypass) and the Skipton to Leeds Railway line. As you can see they are all very close together in the valley bottom. In fact the canal was rerouted to make room the the bypass .

Now sat with my feet up after a very enjoyable day.
