Golf!

We left home at 8.30am to take Tommy to the airport this morning. We were all feeling a little sad, even Tommy. I took a photo as he got out the car 9in extras), this is obviously just some clothes to keep him going but the plan is for Gavin to drive over his other bulky items (like his bicycle) later in the year or early next year. He starts work on Monday and is in an Air BnB until he moves into his new flat on the 1st. 

I knew we would be feeling at a loose end with him gone so I had planned to play golf with Gavin. It was grey all day and we only played 9 holes, and on the last hole it started raining so at least it was dry for most of the time. My fairway play was surprisingly good but my putting let me down today, the greens are lightning fast at this course and it took me a while to adjust to them. There is also a lot of water on the course but thankfully I finished playing with the ball that I started with! We played in 1 hour 40 minutes which was nice and quick.

After golf I took Xena for another walk while Gavin went to get a haircut. We will have a quiet evening at home, I think I will watch The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix as I hear the latest series is excellent.
