Look Out

Dallam Park

A glorious sunny morning to arrive at the caravan. Before going there I diverted to Milnthorpe and Booths for some provisions. The trees along the A6 were looking fabulous in their autumn colours. I stopped in a lay-by alongside the River Bela and took a couple of photos.

Extra - I later travelled up towards Holme and a nearby caravan site. Friends P and A are staying there a few days. P, myself and dog Bertie took a short walk along a remnant of the nearby Lancaster Canal. It’s a real shame that construction of the M6 motorway severed the canal, it would have been great for narrow boats to access Kendal, the southern gateway to The Lakes.
