Houston .... We have Lift-Off

The jet wash isn't as bad as I expected and it wasn't long before docking with the space station was taking place ..... and not a moment too soon as the TARDIS passed close by.

Other news from the day SWMBO has slept most of the day - she appears to have a cold which has knocked her sideways. She had better get rid of it toot suite as she has her flu & covid injections on Tuesday!

I fitted the new drive belt on the drill press .... and found out that isn't what is causing the drill to stop drilling - it is the chuck which isn't gripping properly for some reason.
Strong language was used and things got thrown about!
There was more of that after I had to drill the 4 bits of wood for The Cygnets gym equipment by hand. Taping them all together and trying to align the hand drill with a set-square wasn't ... how shall I put it? ......entirely successful.
I will be discussing things with The Cygnet tomorrow and the design may have to be changed.

It is now beer o'clock.....
