Today I took Django for a long walk on a beautiful morning. My aim had been to take the three new Turf zones at the far north of Penicuik. They are on the edge of the new estate that has now been landscaped and had cycle paths added.  Hence, until the estate is extended, these new houses have lovely views of woodland and the Pentlands. Back home, I fixed a couple of bugs in code that I wrote yesterday and, after proper testing, it appears to be correct. In the afternoon, I had a short sleep.

With groceries required for tea, I walked to Tesco with Django, and left him outside while I has a whizz around. Back home, there was time to experiment with a test problem that had been sent to me (by one of the three mathematicians who visited me on Thursday) while I was out. I even had time to compose an email reply before A got back from her rowing trip to Loch Tummel. I reheated the rest of what I'd made last night, and with some decent GF pasta, it went down well.
