Baking day.

After a nice walk to the village to get some more dried fruit and a tin of treacle it was time to get on with the cake.
The measuring and lining of the cake tin needed an extra pair of hands, Mr PC to the rescue.
The cake mixture was made and in the oven, washing up done then it was time to make the mincemeat.
Cake finally done and the mincemeat had a good glug of brandy, I might have had a little sip.
A very satisfying and productive day.
