Sticks, rocks and feathers

G always used to tease the girls that he'd give them sticks, rocks and feathers for gifts, and occasionally he did if he found interesting ones! As a joke a few years ago, they gave him this little gift that sits on our tv stand. There was unexpected sunshine this morning and this was in the spotlight. We found a flicker feather that we've been meaning to stick on it, but the rock birds have to work for both rocks and feathers until we do. A busy day, so a quick look around the house for an EB.
Another win for Kalyn and team today in Oythe. A long way for them to travel, but they didn't look tired on the court. They won in three straight sets, 25-17 ,25-18, 25-17. They played very well as a team. I still can't believe that Renata and I will be there to watch their next three games! I only have some last-minute packing to do in the morning before I head over to Renata's. G's dropping me off at the ferry and she will pick me up. Can I control my excitement?  :-)
