Sometimes

You can feel that the world is against you. You just sort one problem and another comes along immediately. Then before you know it you have 4 or 5 major issues to deal with. Offers of help can’t be accepted, timing is bad, energy feels sapped. It’s just life and means time to stop and review and work out what to do.

As I walked back to my car for 10-15 mins under these very dark skies, and without a coat, I decided that it was likely that getting drenched would complete the feel of the week. The severe rain and mild flooding started as I was 15 seconds from my car. The universe is not against me I decided. It’s just bad luck!
