The Gladiolus

I was surprised to see these gladioli plants in a nearby garden as I have not seen any for years. The vibrant two coloured version was also new to me. I have been use to seeing them in white or yellow or pinks. A lovely surprise.

I keep forgetting I have arthritis as it is so mild. Occasionally I get quite a reminder as I did yesterday when the whole body is taken over by arthritis and only heat seems to help. I feel for those who often have such days.
