Wānaka Art Society

Every Labour Weekend the Wānaka Art Society has a huge art exhibition. It is wonderful to visit, and also very social as we bump into many people we know. It is a competition ,plus all the work is for sale and their are guest artists demonstrating their art form.

The overall winner this year was this amazing metal sculpture of what I think is a NZ Falcon hunting a hare. The artist is Nicolas Lupacchino, born in Belgium, now living here. It is an amazing piece of work.

Frida had a very short walk on a lead along the lake front today…and the steroids are suddenly making her very hungry!!
