Can Ugal

Dinner at Can Ugal, a lovely treat by Ann and Suzie, on their last night.

We visited a tremendous exhibition of the work of the trail blazing French photographer and film director, Agnès Varda - see link below.

And then, given the torrential rain, escaped into Cines Floridablanca to see the new Almodovar film, The Room Next Door, his first in English and winner of the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival this year. None of us knew the subject matter (self-assisted death of a terminally ill cancer patient), so it was not the feel good film we perhaps needed in the damp conditions. Terrific acting.
