The season

Yes, it's dressing up season. This is, apparently, some guy from Red Dead Redemption - a game the young people play. I don't think they use a toy cap gun in the game.

But more exciting news - the window (remember the window?) that's been waiting patiently in the garage is finally installed. I just needed to gather the courage to cut through the mains water pipe that for reasons known only to the original owners and the workmen who installed the new staircase, was poking through the window in what used to be the back of the house. No, I don't understand either. Anyway, it was cut, removed and recapped without leaks so the new heat retaining window is now in place. It does mean I have no excuse to not decorate around it.
