Good Luck Charm

I received this bracelet as a gift from a Kenyan friend at parkrun, whom I have known for many years. He is a terrific character and well known to all of us at Town Moor and Leazes parkruns, where he is still regularly running 22 minute 5ks, in the VM70-75 category!
Despite his kind gift, I am not running like a Kenyan athlete and am still struggling to break 23:30 - maybe next month.
