Comforting...

...Autumn, consoling and kind, preparing us for the long, dark winter ahead. There will be fires like these.

It was a beautiful day today, sunny and warm. We walked to Hayling Island, some 8 miles in all, and it felt like a summer's day. Mark was in a T-shirt. The sun is now dipping at 4:30pm.
