..with contrail.

Went for a long walk this morning in a different direction from usual.  It was an incredibly beautiful autumn morning with glowing leaves and berries, so you nearly got that from my journal, but I did rather fall in love with this wonderfully curly contrail - like lambswool - so here it is instead.

The UK clocks went back last night so here we are heading to 5pm and already the light's going.  Am quite looking forward to taking some evening shots this winter.

Nothing else about today.  My back's sore, I'm tired and the house feels rather bad-tempered, but that's just part of life, isn't it.  In a minute I'll get the washing out of the machine and then have the real pleasure of looking at, and commenting on, your lovely journals.
