Two On The Go..

.... at the same time - which is something I rarely do. But after being away from reading for so long, I no longer have the self-discipline to wait to read a tempting book until I have finished the one I am currently reading! 

I have been enjoying A Walk in the Park which I had purchased before my accident and then had to put it aside. But then this week, a fellow blipper recommended The House of Doors,  a book that her book club had really enjoyed and it really caught my interest....so here I am, switching back and forth between the two of them.

A bonus of that book recommendation was that it meant I had to get off my butt and go to the library- where I had not been for months. Oh the joy..being able to hop in my car and drive * anywhere - let alone to the library! What a treat... I love my library.. and the little café within it...especially its tasty salads to take home for lunch...Yum. 

So, it was another good day with signs of progress being made toward getting my old normal life back!

* Driving has been an iffy thing for me this past month, but after trying a couple of short outings recently to physio, the pharmacy and now the library, I can see that if I am really careful I should have no difficulty driving locally. I am Free at Last!
