Sunflower
I started my Friday with a walk –a variation on my pre-work walk. I ended up at the pop up bakery, which was good timing as it had not long opened. A few purchases were made. Later in the day a friend asked me how much my sourdough loaf cost. I had to confess that I didn’t know, and it is probably best not to think about it, otherwise I wouldn’t buy it! It does always feel like a treat though.
Once home, I thought the sun was going to break through so hung some washing out and then went out for a run. I was so wrong about the sun, as it got very grey and misty. Six miles done, and although I am very slow, it felt good.
After lunch I popped down into town to pick up a few things and then did a few chores. Very late afternoon, I popped out for a short walk (my WFH lunchtime walk), to stretch my legs off a bit. The day really was grim.
TT is away with work for a couple of days, so I only had myself to feed tonight, so found something in the freezer. Then I got a message from BB to say he would be home later. Later was after 11pm, as he decided to go to University rugby training this evening. Dedication. He was starving, as hadn’t eaten anything. I heated up some leftovers for him, had a wee chat, but had to go to my bed.
Not much blip inspiration today, so here is one of our very late flowering sun flowers again – this one is just past its best.
