Autumn

It was just as well I was on the road early, when it was sunny.  I had wanted to do more long exposure, but the light wasn't quite right, so I travelled along the side of Buttermere where the light was still with me.  Trees still had leaves which looked gorgeous in the sunlight, but some had been battered by the recent wind and rain.  I had a walk at Gatesgarth before travelling over Honister Pass, as the roadworks had been completed, and travelled through Borrowdale before returning home.
