Portland Bill

Slightly thrown by the clocks going back today - so early night .
Did done extra shopping at the supermarket in Weymouth then took a trip to the Bill after lunch . It was so warm like a Spring day and very busy with Half Term holiday makers .
It was surprising to still see thrift flowering so late .

We had a stroll along the cliffs and spotted this Aircraft Carrier - it wasn’t marked on the ship app however its shape was very distinctive.

We are certain it was the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier possibly heading for Portsmouth . It carries a crew of 1600 men and is 280m in length.
