It's a dog's life

Up on the plot just after 7am. The clumps of Campanula & Solidago brought home from George & Jeans garden last week, split & potted. 10 x 1ltr pots of each. Stock for next year's charity plant sale.
Down in CK, Mum showered, bed stripped, breakfast made, dog walked, laundry pegged out on our return. After a swift coffee break Mum & I spent another couple of hours on the borders in the front garden. Someone's cat unfortunately used Mum's lawn as a toilet which is pretty disgusting, so 4 lots had to be removed before we could even begin. If I knew whose cat was the culprit I would lob it into their garden. At 2pm we downed tools & ate lunch. Drove up to Chudleigh. I sat Mum in front of the TV to watch Strictly on catch up while I prepared dinner. Hubby was watching Exeter Chiefs lose, yet again, in the pub with his pals. Oh dear! Mum & I watched Countryfile, a really interesting episode this evening, followed by the Strictly results after dinner.
Dropped Mum back & got her off to bed.
I'm going to sit down now with the Sunday crossword before I hit the sack.
